With all the talk of Lifestyle everything these days, it can be easy to misunderstand what it all really means and why It all really matters so much… & indeed it really does...
Click "Read More" Below to Continue...
Basically what is meant by the term & talk of "lifestyle" is that when you are thinking of making any sort of positive change in your life, making these changes and new habits part of your “lifestyle” is vital for long term success.
There are several reasons why this is the case…
Below are a few …

>Making changes that are short term solutions don’t generally work because once you stop doing them you end up right back to where you started. This goes for dietary changes as well as other areas in your life in which you decide to change habits that can’t continue long term.

>Short Term Solutions for your issues are often not healthy, sometimes almost radical & again, don’t equate to lasting change.

>Once you have the right mindset & a good reason for making changes and you begin start making them, they eventually become habit and therefore will become part of your “Lifestyle". You will no longer feel like you’re on a program, diet or are being deprived. Once habits become part of your lifestyle it equates to longterm change.

Now that you have a bit of info regarding why making lifestyle changes are the way to go in creating change in your life, Here are a few areas in that improving your lifestyle may also greatly improve your wellness & quality of life  :
1) Food

As many of us realize, Healthy Food Choices can make an enormous beneficial difference in our lives! From better health to more energy & so much more !
Especially swapping out processed foods & ingredients for more whole foods such as plant-based ones can potentially make a huge impact on your life whether you work towards doing it slowly or all at once.

2) Exercise

Exercise is also vital to  wellness and feeling good in so many ways !
Even just moderate exercise such as walking can greatly improve your health  & life. If you can manage to put yourself on a schedule and even if you start slowly, when it becomes a habit and part your longterm lifestyle you will likely reap great benefits !

3) Sleep

Quality Sleep is incredibly important because first off, your body repairs & fortifies itself when you’re slumbering.
Getting enough sleep along with going to bed and waking up at the same times on a daily basis is very beneficial to wellness.
There are many steps you can take to potentially assist in this area and that may equate to long term change.

4) Managing Stress

Reducing stress in your life can greatly benefit your well~being, as chronic stress can be very detrimental to health. This is sometimes easier said than done being there are so many stressors in life. The key is managing it and possibly taking up practices that will help do so. An example of these would include breathing exercises, yoga, spending more time in nature, playing or creating music or art or practicing mindfulness / zen.

Overall, in creating a healthier lifestyle & obtaining longterm change you’d want to attempt to implement new positive habits while if possible, also eliminating bad ones ...

So, regardless of the category that its in, You can certainly just create a lifestyle challenge for yourself... for starters you can come up with a little plan & even just hang up a few reminders for yourself in places where you'll see them everyday to help you stick to them, but often this isn't quite enough to create lasting change...
So to further explain, in addition to the categories (or others)
listed above that you may consider making change in, most of us already realize to at least some degree that cultivating better habits in certain areas would be beneficial  to us. Issues regarding making longterm change are sometimes more in terms of having a solid plan as well as the motivation & discipline to stick with and carry these changes out and through. Things such as emotions, attachments to your old habits, and having a good enough reason & the motivation for change are a few common issues.
Goals & how you work towards them can be key here.

So In case you're not feeling quite inspired enough to get going or sticking with new habits longterm, below are a few ideas of ways in which you may find helpful in attempting to work towards healthy lifestyle goals & potentially make longterm changes successfully …

> If you haven't already identified them, reflect on what your positive lifestyle goal/goals may be & list them (this could include any category above or others & can be big or small)

>Look them over & determine which one you think you feel strongly enough about to start executing.

>Determine exactly Why you need to reach this goal.

>With the above in mind, reflect on whether you have a good enough reason, feel strongly enough, and are ready to make these changes and start working towards  your goal

Once you decide to move forward with your goal, below are a few things that may be helpful to  consider in putting it into action. If you plan in advance in these areas you may be more prepared moving forward successfully with creating your new habits...

Identify :
>What could you put in place in your life to make your goal more achievable
>What help will you need regarding others in your life
>What will you do when others aren't supportive
>How will you carve out the time to fit your new plan into your schedule

>How will you hold yourself to task & accountable
>How will you navigate moments when your emotions get in the way
>How will you deal with temptation

>How will you prepare for possible obstacles
>How will you recover when you trip up

And Finally :
Its the rare individual that can take on & tackle their entire goal at once so...

>You can break your goal down into Mini Steps if you so choose.
This will help you create new habits a little bit at a time.

You would want your steps to be slightly challenging while at the same time possible for you to achieve.
You can always reflect on your progress and modify as you go along.

Most find that working towards creating new habits and lifestyle change one step at a time as the road to ultimate success!

Hope you found this bit of info helpful on your journey to a Healthier Lifestyle !!
